There are so many online simulations that can be used to increase student understanding of topics taught in class. Even in a school without a lot of lab resources, websites can provide endless options for exploring scientific concepts and exposing students to situations they might not be able to experience in real-life.Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01750057603813170754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7709830951277732887.post-80615829507670633902011-06-19T16:33:43.329-04:002011-06-19T16:33:43.329-04:00Spot on - in regards to "enhancing." As you said, we need to use these tools to give students enriching experiences that we can't do without the technology.Brunsellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07695272594097361610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7709830951277732887.post-78621464508050356672011-06-19T06:58:46.482-04:002011-06-19T06:58:46.482-04:00Your ideas are very interesting, Taylor. As you rightly mentioned under 'Post and evaluate work', technology gives a big push for peer review, which is otherwise not so visible in a conventional classroom. Allowing a real-time conversation on a blog or a similar forum is a great way to gauge students' understanding.Veeraiah Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15139427932138486468noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7709830951277732887.post-79054665672177584182011-06-18T17:18:28.814-04:002011-06-18T17:18:28.814-04:00Thanks for the comment. It's cool how you have a section outlining different possible uses of technology as well.Don Asburyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02906085157956649579noreply@blogger.com
